The vote on May 11 is the final step necessary to begin construction work that could start as soon as this summer. To be clear, a YES vote on May 11 is for a "Debt Exclusion" and NOT a "Prop 2-1/2 Override." This means that once the specific debt is paid off, the taxes associated with it go away. It is NOT a permanent tax increase. Details below.
